Prof. (Dr.) Tamal Kanti Ghosh
MBBS, MD, PhD (Med), MBA (Hospital Management)
Prof. (Dr.) Tamal Kanti Ghosh is a senior physician and seasoned academician with over three decades of experience in medical education, clinical diagnostics, and healthcare administration. He completed his MBBS from Burdwan Medical College and MD in Pathology from Aligarh Muslim University. He further pursued a PhD in Medicine from the University of Burdwan and holds an MBA in Hospital Management from Annamalai University.
Dr. Ghosh has served in leadership roles across premier government medical institutions in West Bengal, including as Professor, MSVP, and Principal at Medical College Kolkata, IPGMER-SSKM Hospital, Burdwan Medical College, and others. He also held the position of Special Secretary (Medical Education) in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
He has guided numerous MD and PhD candidates and has led clinical research projects under ICMR and DST. He serves as Chairman of several Institutional Ethics Committees and is a Lead and Technical Assessor for NABL and NABH. His commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and high-quality care forms the foundation of clinical governance at Hetu Clinic.
Dr. Tamaghna Ghosh

Dr. Tamaghna Ghosh is a radiologist and healthcare professional with specialized expertise in neurocritical care, stroke imaging, and the integration of artificial intelligence in medical diagnostics. He holds an MBBS from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, an MD in Radiodiagnosis from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and a DNB in Radiology. He earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and completed an international immersion program at ESCP Business School, Europe.
Dr. Ghosh has served in clinical roles across tertiary care hospitals and diagnostic centers. He currently leads AI-driven innovation in neuroimaging, working on advanced tools that enhance diagnostic accuracy, accelerate stroke care, and improve outcomes in critical care environments.
At Hetu Clinic, he oversees radiology services and digital health initiatives, ensuring patients have access to high-quality, efficient, and modern diagnostic solutions—both within the clinic and through home-based care.
