Ultrasound and Doppler Services
Hetu Clinic offers a comprehensive range of ultrasound and Doppler imaging services. These diagnostic tests are non-invasive, painless, and vital in evaluating various medical conditions. Performed by trained radiologists using high-resolution equipment, these scans provide real-time images to assist in accurate diagnosis and timely clinical decisions.
General and Abdominal Ultrasound
1
A comprehensive scan evaluating all major abdominal organs including the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, and spleen. Recommended for abdominal pain, unexplained swelling, or routine health evaluations.
2
Targets the upper abdominal organs such as the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and spleen. Commonly used to investigate digestive issues and liver function.
3
Combines imaging of abdominal organs with the uterus, ovaries, and urinary bladder. Useful in evaluating abdominal discomfort, reproductive issues, or urinary symptoms.
4
Combines abdominal imaging with assessment of the prostate and urinary bladder. Commonly advised in cases of urinary or lower abdominal complaints.
5
A non-invasive pelvic scan performed via the abdomen. Helps assess the uterus, ovaries, and bladder in females.
6
An internal scan providing detailed images of the uterus and ovaries. Commonly used for fertility assessments and abnormal bleeding evaluation.
7
Evaluates the kidneys, ureters, and bladder. Frequently used for urinary complaints and suspected kidney stones.
8
Assesses residual urine in the bladder after urination, helpful in diagnosing urinary retention or bladder dysfunction.
Breast, Neck, and Endocrine Ultrasound

Used to detect hernias or abnormal swelling in the groin region.
3
A focused scan to investigate specific areas of pain, swelling, or suspected soft tissue lesions.
Musculoskeletal and Chest Ultrasound
1
Evaluates joints and surrounding soft tissues for inflammation, injury, or fluid accumulation.
2
Non-invasive scan to detect pleural effusions, chest wall abnormalities, or fluid accumulation around the lungs.
Pediatric and Neurological Ultrasound

Monitors ovarian follicles in women undergoing fertility treatment or cycle tracking.
2
Determines gestational age and confirms viability in early pregnancy.
3
Assesses fetal neck thickness and nasal bone to screen for chromosomal abnormalities.
4
A detailed anatomical scan of the fetus typically done in the second trimester to detect structural anomalies.
5
Evaluates fetal development, weight, and overall well-being in later stages of pregnancy.
6
Combines ultrasound findings with fetal activity to assess oxygen supply and fetal health.
Doppler Studies
1
Measures blood flow in the fetus and placenta to evaluate fetal well-being.
2
Evaluates blood flow in the carotid arteries of the neck and is commonly used to assess stroke risk.
3
Assesses blood supply to the testes and identifies conditions like torsion or varicocele.
4
Evaluates penile blood flow and is useful in diagnosing erectile dysfunction.
5
Examines blood flow to the kidneys and is helpful in hypertension and renal artery stenosis.
